About Penelope

Penelope is the face of Luster Canyon.. and a pretty cute one at that!

Penelope was acquired by Luster Canyon in March of 2011 as a means to show off the pajamas that are for sale in the physical store. However, she quickly outgrew this simple task and has become the icon or face of Luster Canyon. Our customers have learned to look for Penelope (she likes to move around the shop) when they come in to see what she might be sporting now or what fabulous product she is promoting.

We love to have fun with Penelope on holidays and have the greatest time on Halloween, dressing her to the nines. Year-round, she’ll be found in her shower cap (and what a gorgeous cap it is!).

We’re often asked – why Penelope? Where did that name come from? Penelope Gertrude is our daughter’s alter ego, and she (our daughter) lives vicariously through Penelope. What fun!

You’ll also find a caricature of Penelope here and there on our website.. the home page as well as several other pages. No, we’re not telling you where to look. You’ll have to just discover her by yourself!
